From the Pastor Desk –
“GOD WILL BRING JUSTICE
TO THE ELECT WHO CRY OUT TO HIM”
- Prayer presupposes a humble attitude on the part of the
prayer. Therefore, one can only pray to God, the only one who is
truly greater than man. But this prayer must be persevering, as
the Gospel of the day says, because God greatly respects human
freedom and does not want to impose himself on man: “Do
justice to me before my adversary”. Indeed, God will do justice.
He has done it through the righteous, in the trial of Jesus. It will
be an injustice full of mercy. In the meantime, we celebrate God’s
justice in the Eucharist.
- In the first reading, when Moses had his hand up, Israel
was victorious, and when he brought it down, they lost the
battle. This means that, with God on high, we will always be
victorious and when we turn away from Him, then we lose.
Let us remember that the active subject of salvation is God
and the victory that comes to meet us is called Salvation. The
human enterprise thus acquires a sense of salvation that refers
us to the infinitude and great mercy towards all men. Hence the
responsorial psalm: “Help comes to me from the Lord, who made
heaven and earth”.
- The second reading reminds us that every Scripture
inspired by God is also useful for virtue; thus the man of God will
be perfectly equipped for every good work. Let us remember
that the proclamation of God’s Word is not synchronized with
human interests, and any agreement between church and
state that would seek to guarantee this synchronization would
be contrary to the very essence of the Gospel we proclaim.
Reflection note for this week” Let us think about how
God has responded to our needs and requests that we make to
him every day… also how we include in the prayer of the faithful
so many differentsituations,sometimes personal and mostly for
others. What thanksgiving do we do and in what ways do we
please God after all?
- I hope that we will continue to reap the fruits of the
Holy Rosary, through the intercession of Our Lady, the means by
which we are closer to the Lord in every day we live. Thanks be to
her, to Mary, for her presence in our families and in our personal
lives.

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“DIOS HARÁ JUSTICIA A LOS ELEGIDOS
QUE LE GRITAN”
- La oración supone en el orante una actitud humilde. Por
eso, únicamente se puede orar a Dios, el único realmente mayor
que el hombre. Pero esta oración ha de ser perseverante, como
dice el evangelio del día, ya que Dios respeta enormemente la
libertad humana y no quiere imponerse al hombre: “Hazme
justicia ante mi adversario”. Efectivamente, Dios hará justicia.
La ha realizado a través del justo, en el proceso de Jesús. Será
una injusticia plena de misericordia. Entre tanto, celebramos en
la Eucaristía la justicia de Dios.
- En la primera lectura, mientras Moisés tenía la mano
en lo alto, vencía Israel y cuando la bajaba, entonces perdían
la batalla. Esto quiere decir, que, con Dios en lo alto, siempre
estaremos venciendo y cuando nos alejamos de Él, entonces
perdemos. Recordemos que el sujeto activo de la salvación
es Dios y la victoria que viene a nuestro encuentro se llama
Salvación. La empresa humana adquiere así sentido de salvación
que nos remite a la infinitud y gran misericordia para con todos
los hombres. De aquí el salmo responsorial: “El auxilio me viene
del Señor, que hizo el cielo y la tierra”
- La segunda lectura nos recuerda que toda Escritura
inspirada por Dios es también útil para la virtud; así el hombre
de Dios estará perfectamente equipado para toda obra buena.
Recordemos que la proclamación de la Palabra de Dios no esta
sincronizada con los intereses humanos, sobre todo acuerdo
entre la iglesia y el estado que pretendiera garantizar esta
sincronización seria contrario a la misma entraña del Evangelio
que proclamamos.
- Nota de reflexión para esta semana” Pensemos como
Dios ha respondido a nuestras necesidades y peticiones que le
hacemos cada día… también como incluimos en la oración de
los fieles tan diversas situaciones, a veces personales y en la
mayoría por los demás. ¿Qué agradecimiento hacemos y de que
formas agradamos a Dios después de todo?
- Espero sigamos recogiendo los frutos del Santo Rosario,
por intercesión de Nuestra Señora, medio por el cual estamos
más cerca del Señor en cada jornada que vivimos. Gracias a Ella,
a María, por su presencia en nuestras familias y en nuestra vida
personal.
