From the Pastor Desk –
“PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD”
- In these wise men from the East we are represented all
peoples, who have received the message of the Gospel. This is the
feast of the manifestation of God to all humanity, regardless of
race. All peoples, looking at the sky, we can safely direct our steps
towards the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, until we
arrive punctually at our destination.
- When the signs that normally guide us along the paths
of life are lost, or do not exist, as happens in the deserts, in the
inhospitable plains or in the immense seas, humanity has always
resorted to the fixed and stable signs that the firmament offers us.
The wise men of the East, presented to us by Matthew in his Gospel,
“devoted themselves to the study of the stars”. They did not have
the signs that the prophets, throughout the history of Israel, had
been leaving to alert the people about the birth of the Messiah.
They had to turn to the firmament to guide their course; at last, at
one point, the star “stopped over the place where the child was.
When the wise men saw the star, they were overjoyed. Then they
went into the house and saw the child with Mary his mother; and
they knelt down and paid homage to him”.
- Blessed Sacrament Church wishes to thank immensely
all the people who have shown generosity throughout this time.
Generosity to the priests, to the contributions, to the Christmas
Stars, to the Tree of Life located in our vestibule, to the upcoming
95th anniversary of the founding of our parish, to the various events
held during this period of recollection. Thanks to the catechists,
Ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Altar
Servers, parents of catechism students, leaders of the Religious
Education Program, musicians, volunteers with time, work and joy
to serve their parish.
- I thank God for the pleasure of allowing me to be the pastor
of this beautiful parish

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“DOMINGO DE LA EPIFANIA DEL SEÑOR”
- En estos sabios de Oriente estamos representados todos
los pueblos, que hemos recibido el mensaje del Evangelio. Esta
es la fiesta de la manifestación de Dios a toda la humanidad, sin
importar su raza. Todos los pueblos, mirando al cielo, podemos
orientar con seguridad nuestros pasos hacia Aquel que es el
Camino, la Verdad y la Vida, Hasta llegar puntuales a nuestro
destino.
- Cuando la señales que nos guían normalmente por los
caminos de la vida se pierden, o no existen, como pasa en los
desiertos, en las llanuras inhóspitas o en los mares inmensos, la
humanidad siempre ha recurrido a las señales fijas y estables que
nos ofrece el firmamento. Los sabios de Oriente, que nos presenta
Mateo en su Evangelio, “se dedicaban al estudio de las estrellas”.
Ellos no tenían las señales que los profetas, a lo largo de la
historia de Israel, habían ido dejando para alerta al pueblo sobre
el nacimiento del Mesías. Tuvieron que recurrir al firmamento
para orientar su rumbo; por fin, en un momento, la estrella “se
detuvo sobre el lugar donde estaba el niño. Cuando los sabios
vieron la estrella, se alegraron mucho. Luego entraron en la casa,
y vieron al niño con María, su madre; y arrodillándose le rindieron
homenaje”.
- La Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento desea agradecer
inmensamente a todas las personas que han mostrado generosidad
a lo largo de este tiempo. Generosidad para con los sacerdotes,
para con las contribuciones, para con las estrellas de navidad, para
con las Hojas del Árbol de la Vida que esta en nuestro vestíbulo,
para con el próximo aniversario de los 95 año de fundación de
nuestra parroquia, para con los diferentes eventos realizados en
el transcurso de este período de recogimiento. Agradecimiento a
los catequistas, Ministros de Acogida, Ministros Extraordinarios
de la Sagrada Comunión, Lectores, Monaguillos, Padres de familia
de estudiantes en le catecismo, dirigentes del Programa de
Educación Religiosa, Músicos, voluntarios con tiempo, trabajo y
alegría de servir a su parroquia.
- Agradezco a Dios por la dicha de permitirme ser el párroco
de esta hermosa Parroquia.
