““IF YOU HAD FAITH””
- Let us remember that, faith, is a completely free divine
gift. Therefore, the believer who acts rightly according to his
faith can never boast about it. Nor will he display his faith with
pride. This explains why a true believer is the one who takes his
neighbor’s atheism most seriously, because they do not accept
or believe in God
- In the Gospel of the day, the apostles asked the Lord
“Increase our faith” and the Lord answered: “If you had faith as
a mustard seed, everything would be done right”. What do we
need today to increase our faith?
- The firstreading tells usthatthe justshall live by hisfaith.
Here the anguish of the people finds its expression in the faith of
the prophet, who has no sense or understanding of God’s silence
in the face of the injustices we see in the world. Attentive to the
revealing word of the second reading he gets an answer that
must remain, for it is not for him alone. It is faith that holds and
sustains him: “Keep this precious deposit of faith with the help
of the Holy Spirit”. May we never be ashamed to bear witness to
our Lord in every place.
- Without faith it is impossible to understand our covenant
with God. This covenant is sealed in the Eucharist. We need the
Spirit’s help to serve with gratitude and simplicity. “By your
works I will know them.
- I invite you this week to remember as a family the tree
of faith and to discover how much we have grown alongside the
Lord, who shows himself to us as true God and true man.
- Let us remember the month of missions that we have
started together with Our Lady of the Rosary.
Let us be united in family and community praying
for all the missionaries and priests who have left everything
to serve the Lord in distant lands. Let us thank the Lord in his
infinite mercy for the welfare of Mother Church throughout
the world. May St. Therese of the Child Jesus guide our steps
to Love and Serve the Lord with all our soul, mind and heart.

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“Si Tuvieras Fe”
- La fe, recordemos, es un don divino completamente
gratuito. Por eso, al creyente que actúa correctamente según
su fe, no podrá jamás jactarse de ello. Ni tampoco exhibirá con
orgullo su fe. Así se explica que un auténtico creyente es el que
toma más en serio el ateísmo de su prójimo; porque estos, no
aceptan ni creen en Dios
- En el evangelio del día, los apóstoles le pidieron al Señor
“Auméntanos la fe y el Señor contestó: Si tuvieras fe como un
granito de mostaza, todo se obraría correctamente”. ¿Que nos
hace falta hoy para aumentar nuestra Fe?
- La primera lectura nos dice que el justo vivirá por su fe.
Aquí las angustias del pueblo encuentran su expresión en la fe
del profeta, que no posee sentido ni entiende el silencio de Dios
ante las injusticias que vemos en el mundo. Atento a la palabra
reveladora de la segunda lectura se obtiene una respuesta que
debe permanecer, pues no essolo para él. Esla fe la que lo tiene y
sostiene: “Guarde este precioso depósito de la fe con la ayuda del
Espíritu Santo”. Que nunca nos avergoncemos de dartestimonio
de nuestro Señor en todo lugar
- Sin fe es imposible comprender nuestra alianza con Dios.
Pacto que sella la Eucaristía. Necesitamos la ayuda del Espíritu
para servir con agradecimiento y sencillez. “Por tus obras los
conoceré”
- Lesinvito para que en esta semana recordemos en familia
el árbol de la Fe y descubramos cuanto hemos crecido al lado del
Señor, que se nos manifiesta como Dios y hombre Verdaderos.
- Recordemos el mes de las misiones que hemos empezado
junto a nuestra Señora del Rosario.
Que estemos unidos en familia y en comunidad orando portodos
los misioneros y sacerdotes que hemos dejado todo para servir
al Señor en tierras lejanas. Agradezcamos al Señor en su infinita
misericordia por el bienestar de la Madre Iglesia en el mundo
entero. Que Santa Teresita del Nino Jesús guie nuestros pasos
para Amar y Servir al Señor con toda nuestra alma, mente y
corazón.
