From the Pastor Desk –
SUNDAY, January 16th 2022 / “SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME”
“God has called us, through the Gospel, to share in the Glory
of Our Lord Jesus Christ”
- The first reading speaks to us of the joy that a husband
finds with his wife, just as we find in our relationship with God:
Married love gave the prophet Hosea an intuition of God’s
love for his people. In this announcement there is strength of
salvation “You will no longer be called forsaken, nor your land
devastated, you will be called my favorite”. From there comes
the beautiful psalm ofthe day that we recite “Told the wonders
of the Lord to all nations”.
- Now that we are beginning the new Year, what a joy
and great consolation to feel that God hasfreely given each one
of us the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the common good of all. In
this way can we think how we have corresponded to God in his
infinite mercy and in the work we do? Let us notforgetthe great
areas of evangelical discrimination that exist: “neither master
norslave, neitherJew nor Greek, neither male nor female”. (Gal
3:28)
- Today the recounting ofthe first miracle worked by Our
Lord at the wedding feast of Cana reminds us of the beginning
of hissigns as God incarnate and from then on his entire mission
in favor of his people and his chosen ones for the task he gave
each one of us, beginning with the apostles, prophets, pastors
and evangelists.
- The sacramental sign is the conversion of water into
wine. Our Eucharistic sign is our own conversion to all the
realities of life, to empower and transform them; thus the
“hour” of Christ will be a full reality of salvation and grace
- This week I invite each one of you to review “OUR LIFE
PROJECT”, implementing those goals and objectives that were
left unfulfilled last year; also my aspirations for these twelve
months including the challenges and challenges before the
pandemic, the protocols and risks that we will have to assume.
- A THOUSAND THANKS TO ALL THE MINISTERS AND
SERVANTS OF OUR PARISH FOR THEIR GOOD WILL AND
PERFORMANCE IN THEIR PASTORAL WORK.

Domingo, Enero 16 2022 / “SEGUNDO DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO”
‘NUESTRO PROYECTO DE VIDA”, implementando aquellas
metas y objetivos que quedaron sin cumplir el año anterior;
