SUNDAY, May 2nd 2021
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life”
Alleluia!.
- Saul bears witness to the Risen Jesus and openly
proclaims that Jesus is the Lord. We proclaim that we believe
in Jesus by loving one another for He is the Vine and we are the
branches. Let us praise His Holy Name together in the midst of
the assembly.
- Today, the first reading highlights the suspicious way
they look at Paul, for he is newly converted from the opposing
ranks. This attitude will be repeated frequently in the Christian
communities, distrusting him for what he did before against
the new doctrine of Jesus Christ for all. Paul openly gave
his testimony of how he had seen the Lord on the road to
Damascus, and so, he announced it publicly without fear of the
consequences.
- The Apostle John invites us in the second reading of the
day to love one anotherin the name ofJesus,through the figure
of the cross, in which we were all transformed and regenerated
on the way of salvation, which is an open invitation to all and
not exclusively to one group.
- The Christian community in the world has no other
meaning than to be the servant of mankind: The mission of the
Church, as such, is the proclamation of Salvation, driven by love
for the world. The Church’s mission, as such, is the proclamation
of Salvation, driven by love for the world, which realizes in its
bosom the reality of human life “Love and Service” together
for all. This is the basis of a true community.
- Let us remember that as a community we cannot, at
any time, forget our surname and identity in Christ “INRI”
(Jesus Nazarene King of the Jews); hence the Lord’s invitation
to all: “If you remain in me, I will remain in you”. We call this
coherence in Love and humble submission to the Lord who has
adopted us as His children and active members of His Church.
- With much Joy we consecrate this month of May to our
Blessed Mother, remembering also our mothers, whom we will
honor and celebrate with gratitude, while we accompany our
Children who will celebrate their First Communion during these

“¡Yo soy el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida”
Aleluya!
- Saulo da testimonio de Jesús Resucitado y proclama
abiertamente que Jesús es el Señor. Nosotros proclamamos que
creemos en Jesús amándonos los unos a los otros pues Él es la Vid
y nosotros los sarmientos. Alabemos juntos su Santo nombre en
medio de la asamblea.
- Hoy se destaca en la primera lectura la manera recelosa
de como miran a Pablo, pues está recién convertido de las filas
contrarias. Esta actitud se repetirá frecuentemente en las
comunidades cristianas, desconfiando de el porlo que antes hacia
en contra de la nueva doctrina de Jesucristo para todos. Pablo
daba abiertamente su testimonio de cómo había visto al Señor en
el camino hacia Damasco, y por eso lo anuncia públicamente sin
miedo a las consecuencias.
- El apóstol San Juan nos invita en la segunda lectura del
día para que, en el nombre de Jesús, nos amemos los unos a los
otros, por medio de la figura de la cruz, en la cual todos fuimos
transformados y regenerados en el camino de la salvación, la cual
es una invitación abierta para todos y no exclusiva de un grupo.
- La comunidad cristiana en el mundo no tiene mas sentido
que ser servidora de los hombres: La misión de la Iglesia como tal
es el anuncio de la Salvación, impulsada por el amor al mundo. La
que realiza en su seno la realidad de la vida humana “El amor y
el Servicio” conjunto de todos. Esta es la base de una verdadera
comunidad.
- Recordemos que como comunidad no podemos en ningún
momento olvidar nuestro apellido e identidad en Cristo “INRI”
(Jesús Nazareno Rey de los judíos); de ahí la invitación del Señor
para todos: “Si permanecen en mí, Yo permaneceré en vosotros”.
A esto lo llamamos coherencia en el Amor y Sumisión humilde al
Señor que nos ha adoptado como Hijos suyos y miembros activos
de su Iglesia.
- Con mucha Alegría consagramos este mes de mayo
a nuestra Madre Santísima, recordando también a nuestras
madres, a quienes honraremos y celebraremos con gratitud,
mientras acompañamos a nuestros Niños que celebraran su
Primera Comunión durante estos días. Bendiciones y saludos
para todos, con mi cariño y Bendición,
