SUNDAY, April 3rd 2022 / “5th THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT”
“HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN, LET HIM CAST THE
FIRST STONE AT HER”
- The people banished from Egypt would not be
redeemed by the mere memory of what they were. But
memory opens the horizon to hope. The prophet Isaiah in the
first reading confronts the new with the old: “Thus says the
Lord, who made a way through the sea” and with this exodus
welcomed them as a people of his own and was taking them
and transforming them into a community of faith until they
reached the promised land and installed with them, a fervent
and desirous community of God in the faithful fulfillment of the
commandments, as Holy Mother Church commands us today.
- St. Paul in the second reading affirms that he lost
everything for the sake of Christ, and he esteems everything as
garbage in order to gain the righteousness that comes from God
and is based on Faith; for the goal of the Christian race coincides
with the very frontier of life. With this same affirmation I invite
you so that we all run towards the same goal, to win the prize,
to which God from above calls us in Christ Jesus.
- Before the woman caught in adultery, the Gospel
tells us that Jesus wrote something on the ground while
everyone accused her and raised stones to stone her, while
they questioned him to put him to the test in order to imprison
him. As they insisted on questioning him, then he got up and
answered: “He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone at
her” and at once all withdrew and none condemned her, then
he said “I do not condemn you either”. Here there is only room
for the word Compassion and Mercy of a Human and Divine God
who welcomes us, cleanses us, redeems us and sanctifies us in
spite of our limiting condition that we live in sin.
- Let us remember today in the Holy Mass, that the
forgiveness of sins is a gift that we receive fully from God and
today the invitation for all of us is to be Merciful with everyone,
as God has been Merciful with us.
- Concluding this beautiful journey of Holy Lent, let
us fervently prepare ourselves to begin the Major Week
next week with the Acclamation to Christ the King on Palm
Sunday, and thus enter its final stretch: PASSION, DEATH AND
RESURRECTION.
- Thanks to all those who in one way or another have
fervently attended this Lenten Walk that we are about to
finish, and that, from these practices, Thank God we have been
vindicated with the Real and Eucharistic presence of Our Lord,
in favor of all.

Domingo, Abril 3 2022 / “QUINTO DOMINGO DE CUARESMA”
“EL QUE ESTE SIN PECADO, QUE LE TIRE LA
PRIMERA PIEDRA”
- Al pueblo desterrado de Egipto no le redimiría el puro
recuerdo de lo que fue. Pero la memoria abre horizonte a la
esperanza. El profeta Isaías en la primera lectura enfrenta lo
nuevo con lo antiguo: “Así dice el Señor, que abrió camino en el
mar” y con este éxodo los acogió como pueblo de su propiedad y
los fue llevando y transformando en una comunidad de Fe hasta
llegar a la tierra prometida e instalar con ellos, una comunidad
ferviente y deseosa de Dios en el fiel cumplimiento de los
mandamientos, como nos manda hoy la Santa Madre Iglesia
- San Pablo en la segunda lectura afirma que todo lo
perdió por Cristo, y todo lo estimo basura con tal de ganar la
justicia que viene de Dios y que se apoya en la Fe; pues la meta
de la carrera cristiana coincide con la misma frontera de la vida.
Con esta misma afirmación les invito para que todos corramos
hacia la misma meta, para ganar el premio, al que Dios desde
arriba llama en Cristo Jesús.
- Ante la mujer sorprendida en adulterio, nos dice el
Evangelio que Jesús escribía algo en el suelo mientras todos la
acusan y levantan piedras para lapidarla, mientras lo interrogan
para ponerlo a prueba y poder apresarlo. Como insistían en
preguntarle, entonces se incorporo y respondió: “El que este
sin pecado, que le tire la primera piedra” y al momento todos
se retiraron y ninguno la condenó., Luego dijo “Yo tampoco te
condeno”. Aquí solo cabe la palabra Compasión y Misericordia
de un Dios Humano y Divino que nos acoge, nos limpia, nos
redime y nos santifica a pesar de nuestra condición limitante
que vivimos en el pecado.
- Recordemos hoy en la Santa Misa, que el perdón de los
pecados es un don que recibimos plenamente de Dios y hoy la
invitación para todos es que seamos Misericordiosos con todos,
como Dios ha sido Misericordioso con nosotros.
- Concluyendo este hermoso recorrido de la Santa
Cuaresma, preparémonos fervorosamente para iniciar la
Semana Mayor la próxima semana con la Aclamación a Cristo
Rey el Domingo de Ramos, y así entrar en su recta final: PASIÓN,
MUERTE Y RESURRECCIÓN.
- Gracias a todos los que de una u otra forma han asistido
fervorosamente a esta Caminata Cuaresmal que estamos a
punto de terminar, y que, de estas prácticas, Gracias a Dios
hemos sido reivindicados con la presencia Real y Eucarística de
Nuestro Señor, en favor de todos.
