SUNDAY, November 28th 2021 / 1ST SUNDAY OF ADVENT
“YOUR LIBERATION IS NEAR.”
- Hearing the announcement of our liberation awakens in
us a feeling of hope because we all live in expectation towards
the future.
- That is why from this Sunday every week, we will light
on the altar four CRIOS that indicates to us the best way to
prepare ourselves with Hope – Faith – Joy, and Peace for the
approaching Christmas.
We all have to seek what is above all amid adversities
and life situations that we have: “To you, Lord, I lift up my soul,
my God, in you I trust.”
- Today the prophet Jeremiah reminds us of God’s
disappointment before the unfaithfulness of the kings that
he installed before the chosen people as symbols of God and
bearers of the messianic hope and who, on the contrary, did
everything that displeases God. Therefore “I will raise for
David a legitimate offspring whom we will call “Lord, our
Righteousness and Lord of Peace.”
- The second reading tells us that Christian hope is often
confused with love beyond discrimination and conditioning.
Jesus calls us “so that when Jesus returns, accompanied by
all his saints, we may all present ourselves holy and blameless
before God our Father.”
Today, the signs of the end are present in judgment. So,
the man knows how to discern between the just and the unjust,
the truth and false.
- We can see this judgment in the Eucharist, where the
Word penetrates to the depths of hearts like a two-edged sword.
Finally, I invite each family to reserve a star to illuminate
our parish for all the community in this new Advent and
Christmas as a positive note of Preparation to join with Jesus.
It is the moment to enjoy and pray for each one, especially
for those who have departed to the Father’s house.

Domingo, Noviembre 28 2021 / Primer domingo de Adviento
“SE ACERCA VUESTRA LIBERACIÓN”.
- El hecho de oír el anuncio de nuestra liberación,
despierta en nosotros un sentimiento de esperanza, pues
todos vivimos en expectación hacia el futuro; por eso desde
este domingo cada semana encenderemos sobre el altar cuatro
CIRIOS que nos indican la mejor manera de prepararnos con
Esperanza -Fe – Alegría y Paz para la Navidad que se acerca.
- Todos hemos de buscar lo que está por encima de
todos en medio de las adversidades y situaciones de vida que
tenemos: “A Ti, Señor levanto mi alma, Dios mío, en Ti confío”.
- Hoy el profeta Jeremías nos recuerda la decepción de
Dios ante la infidelidad de los reyes que el mismo instaló ante
el pueblo elegido como símbolos de Dios y portadores de la
esperanza mesiánica y qué, por el contrario, hicieron todo
lo que a Dios desagrada. Por lo tanto “Suscitaré a David un
vástago legitimo a quien llamaremos “Señor, nuestra Justicia y
Señor de Paz”.
- La segunda lectura nos dice que la esperanza cristiana
muchas veces se confunde con el amor, más allá de toda
discriminación y condicionamiento. “para que, cuando Jesús
vuelva acompañado de todos sus santos, nos presentemos
todos también santos e irreprensibles ante Dios, nuestro
Padre”.
- Hoy los signos del final de la venida se anticipan en el
juicio que realiza el hombre cuando sabe discernir entre lo justo
y lo injusto, lo autentico y lo falso, lo verdadero o lo engañoso.
Ese juicio se hace también en la Eucaristía, donde la Palabra
penetra hasta el fondo de los corazones como espada de dos
filos.
- Finalmente, como nota complementaria a nuestra
Preparación y Reencuentro con Jesús en este nuevo Adviento
y Navidad que se hemos empezado, les invito para que cada
familia reserve una estrella para iluminar desde nuestra
parroquia a todas nuestras familias y orar por cada una de
manera especial y en recuerdo a tantos seres queridos que han
partido a la casa del Padre.
- No olviden asistir a nuestro RETIRO ANUAL DE
ADVIENTO, que tendremos en el Salón Valero el día Sábado 11
de diciembre desde las 7:30 am hasta la 1:30 pm. Pueden traer
algo para compartir. Gracias.
