SUNDAY, JULY 26
“God who prepares a home for the helpless,
gives strength and power to his People”
- In the book of Kings, Solomon does not ask God for personal
goods, but Wisdom and good judgment to govern with
righteousness. Otherwise who would be able to rule this
large people? And God responded by giving him a wise and
intelligent heart, as there has never been before or after.
This fact makes us think today about the political fate of
our countries, if they had sensible governments that had
God in their mind when making decisions as important as
what good government implies. We can say that when we
count on God, God counts on us and all our plans succeed
and are fully carried out despite the adversities.
- In the second reading, the Love of God produces in us as
believers a great optimism that is reflected in our faith
which leads us to liberation from all that alienates and
despairs us. “I call those whom I predestinate, those
whom I call, I justify and those I justify, I glorify.”
- In the Gospel of the day, the acceptance of the Kingdom
of God, as the goal of human living, imposes a selective
attitude on believers, within which all human values are
subordinated to that last value. Just as in the search for
hidden treasure, we must strive to grow and stay, to
achieve our goals and ideals.
- Now that we are living a difficult time, in which many of
our proposed ideals have changed, we should not lose our
horizon, but to achieve Salvation and eternal Life as Jesus,
our Lord promised us. Now I invite you to reschedule your
activities for the end of the year and for 2021

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“Dios que prepara casa a los desvalidos, da
fuerza y poder a su pueblo”
- En el libro de los Reyes, Salomón no pide a Dios bienes
personales, sino Sabiduría y buen juicio para Gobernar con
rectitud. ¿De lo contrario quién sería capaz de gobernar
este pueblo tan numeroso? Y Dios le respondió dándole
un corazón sabio e inteligente, como no lo ha habido
antes ni después. Este hecho nos hace pensar hoy sobre
la suerte política de nuestros países si tuvieran gobiernos
sensatos que tuvieran a Dios presente al momento de
tomar decisiones tan importantes como lo que implica un
buen desempeño. Podemos decir, que cuando contamos
con Dios, Dios cuenta con nosotros y todos nuestros planes
salen y se cumplen cabalmente a pesar de las adversidades.
- En la segunda lectura, el Amor de Dios produce en nosotros
como creyentes un gran optimismo que se ve reflejado en
la fe que nos lleva a la liberación de todo aquello que nos
aliena y desespera. “A los que predestinó los llamó, a los
que llamó, los justificó y a los que justificó, los glorifico”.
- En el Evangelio del día, la aceptación del Reino de Dios,
como meta del vivir humano, impone en los creyentes
una actitud selectiva, dentro de la cual todos los valores
humanos quedan subordinados a ese último valor. Así
como en la búsqueda de un tesoro escondido, hemos de
esforzarnos por crecer y permanecer, para lograr nuestras
metas e ideales.
- Ahora que estamos viviendo un tiempo difícil, en el cual
han cambiado muchos de nuestros ideales propuestos,
no debemos perder el horizonte final, lograr la Salvación
y la Vida eterna como Jesús, nuestro Señor nos prometió.
Ahora les invito a reprogramar sus actividades para el fin
de Año y para el 2021.
- Bendiciones para todos y recuerden que tenemos el 25%
de espacio disponible dentro del templo para que puedan asistir a los diversos servicios litúrgicos. Por favor recuerden
