“MASTER, GRANT THAT I MAY SEE.”

  • The firstreading speaks ofthe oracle of consolation
about the restoration of Israel: “I will guide them among
consolations and lead them on a level path where they will
not stumble and I will be a father to Israel”.

  • All this happened because of the conversion of
the people after so many years of exile; now they have
changed their attitude and listen to the voice of God
    through the prophets

  • In the second reading we see how the priest is
not a man apart, but a member of the community, with
which he shares the good and the bad, precisely because
he participates in the same human condition that finds its
fulfillment in the person of Jesus, our merciful high priest.

  • The Gospel tells us of the healing of the blind man
and in this way Jesus bears witness to the inauguration
of the kingdom of God. Here it is faith that can grasp the
meaning of a miraculous sign; blind Bartimaeus did not
believe that he was healed, but, on the contrary, he was
    healed because he had faith.

  • For us, the testimony of Bartimaeus’ faith should
motivate usto always maintain a positive attitude towards
life in the midst of adversities, fatigue and illnesses that
befall us. I am sure that from the hands of Jesus and Mary
we get more benefit for our health and remedy than in
the hands of the same doctors and laboratories saturated
with medicines, which serve more to support the one who
receives the insurance money than the patient himself

  • “Jesus, meek and humble of heart,
make my heart meek and humble like yours”.

  • Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

    conversión del pueblo después de tantos años de exilio;

    paciente mismo.

  • “Jesús, manso y humilde de corazón, has mi corazón

Rev. Gabriel Jaime Toro R – Pastor
