SUNDAY, APRIL 11th 2021
“My Lord and my God”.
- St. Thomas believed because he saw the Risen Jesus.
Although we have never seen him, we believe that Jesus
is the Christ, begotten of God. Today we give thanks to
the Lord because he has made us a Community of fervent
believers united in the Spirit. We affirm that all these events
that preceded the Resurrection of the Lord, is what we call
EASTER, which means Salvation of that God who reveals to
us his real presence in the midst of history.
- Easter is, above all, the celebration of the universal
community around the Eucharist: Sacrament of the Lord’s
Passover, memorial of his Death and Resurrection. An
eschatological sign of his final coming” “I believe that he
will come again to judge the living and the dead, and his
kingdom will have no end” … therefore, the Risen Christ is
the feast we celebrate, for he was sacrificed, died and rose
again in the midst of a community that together we joyfully
share this thanksgiving.
- TThe First Reading reminds us how the Apostles bore
witness to the Resurrection of the Lord with great courage,
and so we affirm it in the Psalm saying: “Give thanks to the
Lord for he is good, for his mercy endures forever”. Thus, we
see, that the church cannot be closed in on itself, but has to
measure its strength with the world; therefore, we affirm
with the second reading, that everyone who loves God, has
been born of Him.
- In the Gospel of the day, we see how the resurrection
is the primary object of faith and, although there are crises
of faith, it is because it is too rationalized: Peace be with
you, for as the Father sends me, I send you, so that you may
bear witness to my transformation in each one of us.
- Let us continue, then, to celebrate these 50 days of
Easter, taking advantage of the living and real presence of
Jesus in our family and personal work environment. Once
again, my sincere thanks as Pastor of this noble community,
for your presence, participation and generosity for the
beautification and maintenance of all the pastoral spaces
and activities. .

“ Señor mío y Dios mío”
- Aunque nosotros no lo hemos visto nunca, creemos que
Jesús es el Cristo, engendrado por Dios. Hoy damos Gracias
al Señor porque nos ha hecho una Comunidad de creyentes
fervorosos y unidos en el Espíritu. De esta manera podemos
afirmar que todos estos acontecimientos que precedieron
a la Resurrección del Señor, es lo que llamamos PASCUA,
lo cual significa Salvación de aquel Dios que nos revela su
presencia real en medio de la historia.
- La Pascua es, sobre todo la celebración de la
comunidad universal alrededor de la Eucaristía: Sacramento
de la Pascua del Señor, memorial de su Muerte y Resurrección.
Signo escatológico de su venida final” “Creo que ha de volver
a Juzgar a vivos y a muertos y su Reino no tendrá fin” …
por lo tanto, Cristo resucitado es la fiesta que celebramos,
pues fue inmolado, muerto y Resucitado en medio de una
comunidad que juntos compartimos con alegría esta acción
de gracias.
- La Primera lectura nos recuerda como los Apóstoles
daban testimonio de la Resurrección del Señor con mucho
valor, y así lo afirmamos en el Salmo diciendo: “Dad gracias al
Señor porque es bueno, porque es eterna su misericordia”.
Así vemos, que la iglesia no puede encerrarse en si misma,
sino que tiene que medir sus fuerzas con el mundo; por lo
tanto, afirmamos con la segunda lectura, que todo el que
ama a Dios, ha nacido de Él./span>
- En el Evangelio del día, vemos como la resurrección
es el objeto primordial de la fe y; aunque hay crisis de fe
es porque se racionaliza demasiado: Paz a vosotros, pues
como el Padre me envía, los envío a ustedes, para que den
testimonio de mi transformación en cada uno de nosotros. - Sigamos, pues celebrando estos 50 días de
Pascua, aprovechando la presencia viva y real de Jesús
en nuestro ambiente de familia y trabajo personal. Una
vez más, mi agradecimiento sincero como Pastor de esta
noble comunidad, por vuestra presencia, participación y
generosidad para el embellecimiento y manutención de
todos los espacios y actividades pastorales.
