Pastor Desk | 15th SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME “Who is my neighbor?” | July 10th 2022

From the Pastor Desk –

SUNDAY, July 10th 2022

“Who is my neighbor?”

  • God isin the heart ofthose who fulfill his precepts, because
obedience to his Word is the response in love to which he went
ahead to serve us and to make us his children and descendants. (Dt
30,10). “The commandments of the Lord are right and rejoice the
    heart.” (Psalm 18).
  • In the Second Reading from Colossians, Paul exhorts us so
that, in the image ofJesus, we see the image of the invisible God, by
whom all things, visible and invisible, were created. That in Him as
head of the mystical body, we are all united.
  • The gospel of the day reminds us that, to reach God, which
is our goal, we need to stop along the way with our neighbor,
because God is there. Let’s avoid passing by with an empty cult and
sometimes with indifference and annoyance before the most needy
brother. Let us greet everyone and be cordial and joyful, because,
if the Eucharist is concrete Love, let us truly demonstrate that we
have found God in the fraternal assembly of our neighbors, who are
    our brothers.

(Dt.

        • Bendiciones,
Padre Gabriel Jaime Toro R – Pastor
