From the Pastor Desk –
FITH SUNDAY OF EASTER-
- “The Church’s mission is the Announcement of salvation,
driven by love for us.”
Today we remember, the first Christian communities which
came from different emigrations and were more open while
others were conservative and traditionalist families who
were also the new Jews and converted workers. The Word
of God was spreading and in Jerusalem the number of disciples grew greatly … (Act 6,1-7). Today, facing the challenges of the new era, we also see new Christians and more converts re-emerging within our Church through programs such
as RCIA and CCD. We welcome them as they join the Mystical Body of Christ.
- Today’s readings exhort us to evaluate what kind of Christians we are before God and His Church and how the Ecclesiastical Hierarchy is shaped. Therefore, let us draw near to
the Lord, the living stone rejected by men, but chosen and
precious before God. We should ask ourselves what joy do
we receive in the midst of this pandemic? Jesus invites us
to His house when He says “In my Father’s house there are
many dwelling places … when I leave I will prepare a place
for you, I will return and take you to myself.”
- Therefore we
need not fear, for we already know the way. Let us pray for
so many brothers and sisters who have left the faith.
With great joy, I invite you to participate in our parish virtual masses.
- Little by little we will have additional services
including the bilingual Holy Rosary every Friday at 7 pm,
the Hours of Exposure to the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and eventually daily masses and talks
with each parish group.
- Thank you for your support and commitment to our parish.

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
QUINTO DOMINGO PASCUA—
- “La Misión de la Iglesia es el Anuncio de la Salvación, impulsado por el amor al mundo”.
Hoy recordamos a las Primeras Comunidades Cristianas, procedentes de la emigración y eran, por lo tanto, más abiertos;
mientras otras familias conservadoras y tradicionalistas se
fueron agregando también a los nuevos judíos y obreros convertidos. De esta manera la Palabra de Dios iba cundiendo, y
en Jerusalén crecía mucho el numero de discípulos (He 6,1-7).
- Hoy frente a los retos de las nuevas eras, vemos también resurgir nuevos cristianos y mas convertidos dentro de nuestra
Iglesia a través del programa del V encuentro, Avance, RICA, CCD. ¡Bienvenidos a integrar el cuerpo místico de Cristo!
las lecturas de hoy, nos exhorta a evaluar que tipo de cristianos somos ante Dios y su Iglesia y como esta conformada
nuestra Jerarquía Eclesiástica? Por lo tanto, acerquémonos al
Señor, la piedra viva desechada por los hombres, pero escogida y preciosa ante Dios.
- Y con que alegría recibimos en medio de esta pandemia la invitación de Jesús para llevarnos a
su casa “En la casa de mi Padre hay muchas habitaciones…
cuando me vaya y les prepare un lugar, volveré y os llevare
conmigo; por lo tanto, no hemos de temer, pues ya sabemos
el camino. Oremos por tantos hermanos que han partido de
nuestro lado.
- Les invito finalmente a participar de nuestras misas virtuales
desde nuestra parroquia y poco a poco tendremos otros servicios adicionales incluyendo el Santo Rosario bilingüe todos
los viernes a las 7 pm, las Horas de Exposición al Santísimo
los días Martes y jueves, las misas diarias y las charlas con
cada grupo parroquial independientemente. Gracias por su
apoyo y compromiso cristiano con su parroquia.
