“Blessed are those who believe
without having seen”
HALLELUYA!
- We remember today that the Resurrection is the principal
object of faith. Only in it can we believe; for those who, without
having seen, have believed and have been declared blessed. There
is a crisis of faith because it is often related to the reason of those
who do not understand and deny it. Today, when the apostles
were gathered together, the Lord appeared and said to them
“Peace be with you”, he showed them his hands and his open side
and all were filled with joy, beginning with St. Thomas who in the
previous apparition denied him and today kneeling before him,
reaffirmed his faith.
- To perceive the signs and miracles performed by the Lord
and to recognize Him in the breaking of the bread and wine in the
Eucharist, we must have faith; otherwise, what do we commune?
Today I invite you to open your hearts to the Lord and to give him
all honor and glory for coming to give his life for us, to save us and
to give us eternal life.
- In the first reading we see how the first Christians
understood that the proclamation of the Gospel not only
demanded an intellectual acceptance, but a practical attitude:
They went together to the temple all united and celebrated the
breaking of bread in their homes and ate together, praising God
with joy. In this sense, let us think about what we can do today as
a community of Faith to increase this Glory of the Lord among us?
- The second reading from St. Peter reminds us that through
the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, he has caused us
to be born again to a living hope. Today, gathered in community,
around the Word of God, to put everything in common and for
the breaking of the bread, let us ask ourselves: Are we impressed
by the many wonders and visible signs of God in his Church and in
the world? Remember, if you have not discovered Christ in your
life, how can you discover him in the Eucharistic signs? Each one of
us must be consistent with our faith and our eternity will depend
in large part on it.
- Thanking all our Priests, Deacon, Servant Ministers and
the parish community for their participation and presence in the
beautiful Holy Week that we have just celebrated and that we
closed with a flourish, with the great celebration of the AGAPE
PASCUAL last Friday, I exhort you to continue joining efforts to
serve and love the Lord at all times

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“Dichosos los que crean sin haber visto”
¡ALELUYA !
- Recordamos hoy que la Resurrección es el objeto principal
de la fe. Solo en ella podemos creer; pues los que sin haber visto
han creído y fueron declarados, bienaventurados. Hay crisis de fe
porque muchas veces se relaciona esta con la razón de los que
no entienden y la niegan. Hoy, estando reunidos los apóstoles, se
apareció el Señor y les dijo “Paz a vosotros”, les ensenó las manos
y el costado abierto y todos se llenaron de alegría, empezando
por Santo Thomas que en la aparición anterior lo negó y hoy
arrodillado ante El, reafirmo su Fe.
- Para percibir los signos y milagros realizados por el Señor
y reconocerlo en la fracción del pan y del vino en la Eucaristía,
tenemos que tener Fe; de lo contrario, ¿Qué comulgamos? Hoy les
invito para que abramos el Corazón al Señor y le tributemos todo
honor y gloria, por venir a dar la vida por nosotros, para salvarnos
y darnos la vida eterna.
- En la primera lectura vemos como los primeros cristianos
comprendieron que la proclamación del Evangelio no solamente
exigía una aceptación intelectual, sino una actitud práctica:
Acudían juntos al templo todos unidos y celebraban la fracción
del pan en las casas y comían juntos, alabando a Dios con Alegría”.
En este sentido, pensemos ¿Qué podemos hacer hoy como
comunidad de ¿Fe para acrecentar esta Gloria del Señor entre
nosotros?
- La segunda lectura de San Pedro nos recuerda que por
la Resurrección de Jesucristo de entre los muertos, nos ha hecho
nacer de nuevo para una esperanza viva.
- Hoy, reunidos en comunidad, alrededor de la Palabra
de Dios, para poner todo en común y para la fracción del pan,
preguntémonos: ¿Estamos impresionados por los muchos
prodigios y signos visibles de Dios en su Iglesia y en el mundo?
Recuerden que, si Usted no ha descubierto a Cristo en su vida,
¿Cómo podrá llegar a descubrirlo en los signos Eucarísticos? Cada
uno hemos de ser consecuentes con la fe y de ella dependerá
mucha parte nuestra eternidad.
- Agradeciendo a todos nuestros Sacerdotes, Diacono,
Ministros Servidores y a la comunidad parroquial por su
participación y presencia en la hermosa Semana Santa que
acabamos de celebrar y que cerramos con broche de oro, con
la gran celebración del AGAPE PASCUAL el pasado viernes, les
exhorto para que sigamos aunando esfuerzos por servir y amar al
Señor en todo momento.
