SUNDAY, July 17th 2022
“MARTA RECEIVED HIM AT HOME”
- Martha and Mary will always remain in the tradition of the
Church as the two poles of Christian practice: Prayer and Action. But
let us not forget that they will always be sisters, and as such, we
must treat them and intercede before God through them. “Only one
thing is necessary and Mary her sister has chosen the best part.”
- In the first reading we ask the Lord not to pass by in front
of your servant, because God always responds to our requests and
needs. In this case he appeared to Abraham in the form of three
men standing in front of the door of his tent and they told him at
the end that when they returned in a while, Sarah his wife would
have had the son of her offspring, Isaac and so he fulfilled. - in the second reading, Saint Paul exhorts us to discover the
mystery hidden for centuries and that has now been revealed to the
Saints: “…That is to say Christ who is for us the hope and the glory
of God made true man.”
- Today we stop to listen and share the Word with an attitude
of indigence and availability, because we know that we have to give
a new direction to our active life, to our Christian apostolate. That is
why communion is the perfect expression of our acceptance of God
and men.
- Yesterday, July 16th, we celebrated the Feast in Honor of
Our Lady of Mount Carmel and with her, all of us, her children, feel
more than blessed and grateful to God for such a beautiful gift to
all men, as Lady of our paths and universal patron. of drivers and
sailors. From now on, we are doing the Novena in Honor of the
Divine Child. So that we come to Celebrate his Feast in our parish
on Saturday, July 23rd, bringing something to share during the
afternoon in the parking lot of our parish house and we will close
with the solemn Eucharist at 7:00 pm in our beautiful temple of the
Blessed Sacrament

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“MARTA LO RECIBIÓ EN SU CASA”
- Marta y María quedarán siempre en la tradición de la Iglesia
como los dos polos de la práctica cristiana: Oración y Acción. Pero
no olvidemos que siempre serán hermanas, y como tal, debemos
tratarlas e interceder ante Dios por medio de ellas. “Solo una cosa
es necesaria y María su hermana ha escogido la mejor parte”.
- En la primera lectura le pedimos al Señor, que no pase
de largo delante de tu siervo, pues Dios siempre da respuesta a
nuestras peticiones y necesidades. En este caso se apareció a
Abrahán en forma de tres hombres en pie frente a la puerta de
su tienda y le dijeron al final, que cuando volvieran dentro de un
tiempo, Sara su mujer habría tenido el hijo de su descendencia,
Isaac y así se cumplió.
- En la segunda lectura, San Pablo nos exhorta a descubrir
el misterio escondido desde siglos y que ha sido revelado ahora a
los Santos: “…Es decir a Cristo quien es para nosotros la esperanza
y la gloria de Dios hecho hombre verdadero”.
- Hoy nos detenemos a escuchar y comulgar la Palabra con
actitud de indigencia y disponibilidad, porque sabemos que hemos
de dar un nuevo rumbo a nuestra vida activa, a nuestro apostolado
cristiano. Por eso la comunión es la expresión perfecta de nuestra
acogida a Dios y a los hombres. - Ayer, 16 de Julio celebramos la Fiesta en Honor a Nuestra
Señora del Carmen y con Ella, todos nosotros sus hijos, nos
sentimos más que bendecidos y agradecidos con Dios por tan
hermoso regalo a todos los hombres, como Señora de nuestros
caminos y patrona universal de los conductores y marineros.
Desde ahora, estamos haciendo la Novena en Honor al Divino Nino.
Para que vengamos a Celebrar su Fiesta en nuestra parroquia el día
Sábado, 23 de Julio, trayendo algo para compartir durante la tarde
en el parqueadero de nuestra casa parroquial y cerraremos con la
solemne Eucaristía a las 7:00 pm en nuestro hermoso templo del
Santísimo Sacramento. -
