PENTECOST SUNDAY
“THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING”
- In God the person of the Holy Spirit is like a breath of
life, a creative thrust to strengthen everything created by Him.
It is like an impetuous wind, or a devouring fire, it is refreshing
water. The Holy Spirit is an infinite power of Love, which is in the
world since creation and fluttered above the waters. This Spirit
is constantly revealed in the achievements of the human people
and it is He who gives warmth and courage to every man who
receives Him. He is the Teacher, the Advocate and the Defender
and Revealer of the Word of God.
- With this Feast culminates the liturgical time of Easter
and we restart the Ordinary time; therefore, we have to review
and evaluate how this spiritual reception and this rebirth in the
Spirit has been for each one of us believers. How do you feel this
passage of God in your life, in your family, in your work, in your
ministry and other activities? Do you consider important to have
lived your Lent, Holy Week and Easter as we celebrate it in an
atmosphere of family fraternity, giving to each celebration the
value, the respect and the value that we deserve as God’s work
in our favor?
- Let us remember today that the Spirit of God is the
Spirit of Jesus, the same Spirit that raised him from the dead.
This means that the Spirit who created the world, the one who
sustains it with his strength and love without fatigue, will be
the one who gives fullness to the world, bringing about the new
Creation throughout the universe. This is what the first reading
from the Acts of the Apostles speaks of: “They were all filled
with the Holy Spirit”.
- The Second Reading reminds us that we have been
baptized in one Spirit, to form one body, of which Christ is the
Head and from his Spirit we have all received qualities, gifts and
talents. In the Gospel we remember the moment of the coming
of the Holy Spirit, when they were gathered together and behind
closed doors, they saw flames of fire descending on the Apostolic
College and the Blessed Virgin in the Cenacle.
- Finally, my thanks to each and every one of you, the
sheep of this great flock, for your affection, dedication and
permanent collaboration in all the projects and celebrations that
by the Grace of God we have been carrying out in our Parish.

DOMINGO DE PENCOSTÉS
“EL ESPÍRITU SANTO OS LO ENSEÑARA TODO”.
- En Dios la persona del Espíritu Santo es como un aliento
de vida, empuje creador para fortalecer todo lo creado por El.
Es como un viento impetuoso, o un fuego devorador, es agua
refrescante. El Espíritu Santo es un poder infinito de Amor, que
está en el mundo desde la creación y aleteaba por encima de las
aguas. Este Espíritu se revela constantemente en los logros del
pueblo humano y es el que nos da calor y valor a cada hombre
que lo recibe. Es el Maestro, el Abogado y el Defensor y Revelador
de la Palabra de Dios.
- Con esta Fiesta culmina el tiempo litúrgico de la Pascua y
reiniciamos el tiempo Ordinario; por lo tanto, hemos de revisar y
evaluar como ha sido esta recepción espiritual y este renacer en el
Espíritu para cada uno de nosotros los creyentes. ¿Cómo sientes
este paso de Dios por tu vida, por tu familia, por tu trabajo, en
tu ministerio y demás actividades? ¿Considera importante haber
vivido tu Cuaresma, Semana Santa y Pascua como la Celebramos
en un ambiente de familia fraternidad, dando a cada celebración
el valor, ¿el respeto y el valor que le ameritamos como obra de
Dios en favor nuestro?
- Recordemos hoy, que El Espíritu de Dios es el Espíritu
de Jesús, el mismo que lo ha Resucitado. Esto quiere decir que
el espíritu que creo el mundo, el que lo sostiene con su fuerza
y amor sin fatiga, será quien, de plenitud al mundo, realizando
en todo el universo la nueva Creación. De esto propiamente
nos habla la primera lectura de los Hechos de los Apóstoles “Se
llenaron todos del Espíritu Santo”.
- La Segunda Lectura nos recuerda que hemos sido
bautizados en un mismo Espíritu, para formar un solo cuerpo,
del cual Cristo es la Cabeza y de su Espíritu todos hemos recibido
cualidades, dones y talentos. En el Evangelio recordamos como
fue ese momento de la venida del Espíritu Santo, cuando estando
reunidos y a puerta cerrada, vieron descender llamas de fuego
sobre el colegio Apostólico y la Stma. Virgen en el Cenáculo.
- Finalmente, mis agradecimientos a todos y cada uno de
ustedes, las ovejas de este gran rebano, por su cariño, entrega y
colaboración permanente en todos los proyectos y celebraciones
que por la Gracia de Dios venimos realizando en nuestra
Parroquia.
