SUNDAY, November 1st
“Let us all rejoice in the Lord as we celebrate this feast day in honor of all the Saints..”
- The Angels rejoice and praise the Son of God. ‘
- On this Sunday we begin the Month of November, and are presented with the news of the
Beatitudes, as a means of hope for the poor, the persecuted, the pure in heart,and
for those who suffer, etc. It was the bewilderment for many rich people of the moment, because they felt threatened by failing to be mentioned as part of this Kingdom: novel to most of them
in the midst of adversities and incongruities experienced in different social environments.
- Today the Church proclaims the Beatitudes in all corners of the world, where Christians gather to welcome in a special way the most humble and needy, the good-hearted brothers, the just and the bravest who suffer misunderstandings and bad circumstances. Today we also remember the large number of blessed ones that we call “Saints”, many of them without a crown and without an altar, simple and poor, who lived a fraternal love in their trusting lives and ministries amid many difficulties, persecutions and sufferings endured until their death.
- There are several types of Saints: Holy Martyrs who shed their blood in the name of the Lord and
suffered in life until death … Saints by merits and lives of perfection, who with their miracles and
works achieved the favor of God… Others were holy founders of large communities and
religious institutes and other large numbers of saints who have been recognized for their blameless lives
for the Church and perhaps many who are never named saints but they are holy because of the way they lived and they pleased God.
- We join this Sunday liturgy to the celebration of the Faithful Departed, which we will have tomorrow
Monday, November 2. We pray and offer sacrifices of praise to the God of Life and
Mercy for so many of our brothers and sisters who have suffered death and now rest in Peace.
We cannot forget them, therefore, I invite you to raise your prayers for them throughout the month. We
close the month with the Feast of Christ the King and our thanksgiving for the Liturgical Year that
We are culminating in the midst of a terrible pandemic, poverty and global desolation.

- We continue to pray and share our feelings of solidarity and support to all our parishioners and brothers and sisters in the Blessed Sacrament community who seek us through the Online Media and our Pastoral Services. We keep our faith firm and united as a community.

Desde el escritorio del Padre Gabriel Toro:
“Alegrémonos todos en el Señor al celebrar este día de fiesta en honor de todos los Santos.”
- Los Ángeles se alegran y alaban al Hijo de Dios’.
En este domingo con el cual iniciamos el Mes de Noviembre, se nos presenta la noticia de las
Bienaventuranzas, como medio de Esperanza para los pobres, los perseguidos, los puros de corazón,
para los que sufren, etc. Pero fue el desconcierto para muchos ricos del momento, porque se sintieron
amenazados al no lograr ser mencionados como parte de este Reino: novedoso para la mayoría de sus
gentes, en medio de las adversidades e incongruencias vividas en diferentes ambientes sociales.
- Hoy la Iglesia proclama las bienaventuranzas en todos los rincones del mundo, donde nos
reunimos los cristianos, para acoger de manera especial a los más humildes y necesitados, a los
hermanos de buen corazón, a los justos y a los más valientes que sufren incomprensiones y malos
tratos. Hoy también recordamos el amplio número de bienaventurados que llamamos “Santos”, muchos
de ellos sin corona y sin altar, simples y pobres, que vivieron en un amor fraterno y amoroso en sus
vidas y ministerios confiados en medio de muchas dificultades, persecuciones y sufrimientos padecidos,
hasta su propia muerte.
- Hay varios tipos de Santos: Santos Mártires que derramaron su sangre en nombre del Señor y
padecieron en vida hasta la muerte… Santos por méritos y vidas de perfección, que con sus milagros y
obras lograron este favor de Dios… Otros fueron Santos fundadores de grandes comunidades e
institutos religiosos y otro gran número de santos que por sus vidas intachables han sido reconocidos
por la Iglesia y quizá muchos de ellos, nunca lo logren, pero son santos por la forma en que vivieron y
agradaron a Dios.
- Unimos esta fiesta Dominical a la celebración de los Fieles Difuntos, que tendremos mañana
lunes 2 de noviembre, para que oremos y ofrezcamos sacrificios de alabanza al Dios de la Vida y de la
Misericordia por tantos hermanos nuestros que han padecido la muerte y ahora descansan en Paz.
- ¿Como olvidarlos? Por lo tanto, les invito a elevar nuestras plegarias por ellos durante todo el Mes y
cerrar con la Fiesta de Cristo Rey del Universo, nuestra acción de gracias por el Ano Litúrgico que
estamos culminando en medio de una terrible pandemia, pobreza y desolación mundial en muchos
aspectos.

nuestros feligreses y hermanos del Santísimo Sacramento que nos buscan y que, por los Medios de Online y
servicios pastorales, mantenemos firme nuestra Fe y unidos como comunidad.
