SUNDAY, September 5th 2021
“TO LOVE IS TO FULFILL THE WHOLE LAW
AND TO SAVE YOUR BROTHER”.
- In the readings of the day, God communicates with
words, and his revelation has crystallized the Bible as a revealed
and inspired word that is open to all men of any nation.
- Today the consoling word of the prophet surprises the
distressing condition of finiteness in limiting manifestations of
our faculties: “the ears of the deaf shall be opened, the lame
shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing”
- How often appearances deceive us, as the second
reading of the day says: Has God not chosen the poor to make
them heirs of the kingdom? then why do we so often live by
appearances in front of those who are well or poorly dressed? If
we do this, are we not inconsistent and judge by appearances?
Dear brothers and sisters, listen that God has chosen the poor of
the world to make them rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom,
which he promised to those who love him.
- In the Gospel, the gestures that Jesus makes have
nothing to do with magic, but are an attempt to communicate
with the deaf-mute so that he can be aware of the miraculous
action. And the miracle has meaning only for the one who
believes: “He put his fingers in his ears and touched his
tongue with His saliva” and when He pronounced the word
“Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”), the deaf-mute man was
healed.
- Before the kingship of Jesus, the liturgical gathering of
Christians must overcome all human social, cultural or economic
differences. It needs one condition: that all ears hear the same
thing and that all lips pronounce Thanksgiving.
- Tomorrow, Labor Day marks the end of summer
vacation and the beginning of many regular parish and school
activities. Please participate in our 2021-2022 pastoral plan for
those who want to register as parish ministers and also, for
those who have not registered their children and youth in the
school of religion to do so now before restarting the program,
as well as for adults who do not have sacraments and for
couples who wish to marry in the future.

“AMAR ES CUMPLIR LA LEY ENTERA
Y SALVAR A TU HERMANO”.
- En las lecturas del día, Dios se comunica con palabras,
y su revelación ha cristalizado la Biblia como palabra revelada
e inspirada que esta abierta a todos los hombres de cualquier
pueblo o nación.
- Hoy la palabra consoladora del profeta sorprende la
angustiosa condición de finitud en manifestaciones limitantes
de nuestras facultades: “los oídos de sordo se abrirán, saltara
como un ciervo el cojo y la lengua del mudo cantara”.
- Cuantas veces las apariencias nos engañan, tal como
dice la segunda lectura del día: ¿Acaso no ha elegido Dios a los
pobres para hacerlos herederos del reino?, entonces porque
vivimos tantas veces de apariencias frente al que esta bien
o mal vestido? Si hacemos esto, ¿No somos inconsecuentes y
juzgamos por apariencias? Queridos hermanos, escuchad que
Dios ha escogido a los pobres del mundo para hacerlos ricos en
la fe y herederos del reino, que prometió a los que lo aman.
- En el Evangelio los gestos que hace Jesús no tienen nada
que ver con la magia, sino que son un intento de comunicarse
con el sordomudo para que este sea consciente de la acción
milagrosa. Y es que el milagro solo tiene significado para el
que cree: “metió los dedos en los oídos y con la saliva le toco la
lengua” y al pronunciar la palabra EFFETÁ (ábrete), quedo sano
Ante la realeza de Jesús, la reunión litúrgica de los cristianos
debe superar todas las diferencias sociales, culturales o
económicas humanas. Necesita una condición: Que todos los
oídos escuchen lo mismo y que todos los labios pronuncien la
Acción de Gracias.
- Mañana, el día del trabajo marca el fin de las vacaciones
de verano y el inicio de muchas actividades parroquiales y
escolares regulares. Favor les invito a participar de nuestro
plan pastoral 2021-2022 para quienes quieren inscribirse como
ministros servidores de la parroquia y también para quienes no
han registrado a sus niños y jóvenes en la escuela de religión
para que lo hagan ya antes de reiniciar el programa, de igual
manera para los adultos que no tienen sacramentos y para las
parejas que deseen casarse en adelante.
