SUNDAY, May 30th 2021
“Baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit”..
- On this solemnity we remember that God is the ultimate
depths of our life, the source of our being, of our ultimate
concern, of what we take seriously without reservation. This
way God’s life is shared with each of us. In this triple and unique
mystery: Three Divine Persons and One true God, so that God is
very much like us and we are very much like God. A reality that
unites our destinies.
- The first reading of the day reminds us that God is the
One and Only, up there in Heaven and down here on earth,
there is no other. Just as the biblical people perceived Him, so
they encountered Him along the way, as our guide: Is there any
people who have heard, as you have heard, the voice of the
living God? “Blessed are the people whom the Lord has chosen
as his inheritance.”
- The second reading reminds us that we have received
a Spirit of Adopted Sonship that makes us cry “Abba – Father”,
and if we are children of God, then we are co-heirs with Christ,
since we suffer with Him in order to be also glorified with Him.
- Throughout the History of Salvation, we have learned
to know God; therefore, to live the sacrament of Baptism and
the Eucharist, is for us to know that, we are immersed in the
mystery of God and of love; it is to know that we are penetrated
by the communion of the Most Holy Trinity.
- With this Trinitarian reflexion, I ask you to take time
during this week to go back in time and remember how it was
that the evangelization process came to us. Also think about
the way you acknowledged our heavenly Faith, our Church and
our Lord Jesus Christ
- Tomorrow, May 31, we culminate the celebration to
all Mothers with the Visit of Mary to her cousin St. Elizabeth.
Let’s honor our Blessed Mother by thanking her for giving our
beloved the Child Jesus.
- Many blessings to all. There will be a Memorial Mass
on June 12th, 2021 in honor of the deceased fathers and on
June 13th, 2021, will honor all living fathers. Please come to the
rectory at the beginning of June 2021 to reserve your intentions
for these dates.

“Bautizados en el Nombre del Padre,
y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo”
- En esta solemnidad recordamos que Dios significa esto:
Las profundidades últimas de nuestra vida, la fuente de nuestro
ser, de nuestro interés último, de lo que tomamos en serio sin
reserva alguna. De esta manera la vida de Dios es compartida
con cada uno de nosotros en este triple y único misterio: Tres
Divinas Personas y un Solo Dios verdadero, así Dios es mu
parecido a nosotros y nosotros muy parecidos a Dios. Una
realidad que une nuestros destinos.
- La primera lectura del día nos recuerda que Dios es el
Único, allá arriba en el Cielo y aquí abajo en la tierra no hay
otro. Así como el pueblo bíblico lo percibió, así lo encontró a
lo largo del camino, como nuestro guía: Hay algún pueblo que
haya oído, como tú has oído, ¿la voz del Dios vivo? “Dichoso el
pueblo que el Señor se escogió como heredad”.
- La segunda lectura nos recuerda que hemos recibido un
Espíritu de Hijos Adoptivos que nos hace gritar -Abba- Padre”, y
si somos hijos de Dios, somos entonces, coherederos con Cristo,
ya que sufrimos con El para ser también con El Glorificados.

- Con esta reflexión Trinitaria, quiero que cada uno se
tome un tiempo de meditación durante esta semana, para
que hagamos historia sobre la manera que llegó a nosotros el
proceso de evangelización y el conocimiento de nuestra Fe, de
la Iglesia y de nuestro Señor, Jesucristo.
- Mañana 31 de mayo culminamos la celebración de las
Madres con la Visita de María a su prima Santa Isabel. Honremos
a nuestra Señora dándole gracias por darnos al Niño Jesús.
- Bendiciones para todos y desde el inicio del mes de
junio, por favor reserve en la Oficina Parroquial la intención por
los padres Fallecidos, para su Misa Memorial el día Sábado, 12
de junio y el día 13 para los demás.
