Sixth SUNDAY OF EASTER
“THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL BRING TO YOUR
REMEMBRANCE ALL THAT I HAVE SAID TO YOU”.
- The Word of God on this Sunday invites usto reflect
on the effectiveness of the presence of the Spirit of God
among us, to free us from sin. Say “The Lord has redeemed
his people” and we see this in the first reading, where
Barnabas goes to consult with the apostles and presbyters
about the controversies that have arisen regarding the
issue of circumcision for the newly converted
- The second reading describes the image of the Holy
City, illuminated by the Glory of God, whose lamp is the
Immolated Lamb
- From today we begin the preparation for the
Celebration of Pentecost afterthe Ascension of Our Lord to
heaven: “The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my
name, will teach us everything and will remind us of all that
he has said to us”.
- We commune with the Word who became incarnate
in the world to save it. To keep this Word means to make
it present in our personal and community life, so that, like
leaven, it may transform the earth according to God’s plan.
- I invite you as the Community of Faith that we are,
to Pray together for the Well-being of all, especially for
Peace in the whole World, making the common effort in
each family to keep the gifts and the community service
that we have received as an example of the Holy Family of
Bethlehem.
- Next Saturday we will go to the Consecration
of 70 Brothers from our parish to Our Lady of the Island
on Long Island. It is a privilege and honor that we give
to the Mother of God before the end of the month of
May. Let us pray for the success of this wonderful gift.

SEXTO DOMINGO DE PASCUA
UN MANDAMIENTO NUEVO
“EL ESPÍRITU SANTO OS IRÁ RECORDANDO
TODO LO QUE OS HE DICHO”
- La Palabra de Dios en este domingo nos invita a
reflexionar sobre la eficacia de la presencia del Espíritu
de Dios entre nosotros, para librarnos del pecado. Decid
“El Señor ha redimido a su pueblo” y esto lo vemos en la
primera lectura, donde Bernabé va a consultar con los
apóstoles y presbíteros sobre las controversias que se han
presentado respecto al tema de la circuncisión para los
recién convertidos.
- En la segunda lectura se nos describe la imagen de la
Ciudad Santa, iluminada por la Gloria de Dios, cuya lámpara
es el Cordero Inmolado.
- Desde hoy iniciamos la preparación para la
Celebración de Pentecostésluego de la Asención de Nuestro
Señor al cielo: “El Espíritu Santo que enviara el Padre
en mi nombre, será quien nos lo ensene todo y nos vaya
recordando todo lo que nos ha dicho”.
- Comulgamos con la Palabra que se ha encarnado en
el mundo para Salvarlo. Guardar esta Palabra quiere decir
hacerla presente en nuestra vida personal y comunitaria,
para que, como una levadura, transforme la tierra según el
plan de Dios.
- Les invito como Comunidad de Fe que somos, para
que Oremos juntos por el Bienestar de todos, de manera
especial porla Paz en el Mundo entero, haciendo el esfuerzo
común en cada familia por mantener los dones y el servicio
comunitario que hemos recibido como ejemplo de la
Sagrada Familia de Belén.
- El próximo sábado Iremos a la Consagración de 70
Hermanos de Nuestra parroquia hasta Nuestra Señora de la
Isla en Long Island. Es un privilegio y honor que tributamos a
la Madre de Dios antes de culminar el Mes de Mayo. Oremos
por el éxito de este maravilloso regalo
